About Callambulyx rubricosa Walker, 1856

This moth species, Callambulyx rubricosa, has a wingspan of approximately 132 mm. It is very similar in appearance to Callambulyx amanda, but can be distinguished by the absence of a prominent black marking near the tornus on the upperside of its hindwing. This species has been recorded in Nepal, north-eastern India, south-western China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Java.
