Calamotropha paludella (Hübner, 1824) is a species of moth that belongs to the family Crambidae. This species can be found in Europe, Africa, Australia, and across large parts of Asia. The wingspan of adult moths measures between 23 and 29 millimeters. Depending on the location, adult moths fly during the months of June through August. The larvae of Calamotropha paludella feed primarily on bulrush, Typha latifolia, and will sometimes also feed on lesser bulrush, Typha angustifolia.
