About Bursera hindsiana (Benth.) Engl.

Bursera hindsiana is a species of tree native to Mexico, belonging to the frankincense family within the soapwood order. It grows in Sonora, and in both states of Baja California, including several islands in the Gulf of California. It is classified as a small tree. Its first-year branches have brown bark, while older stems have gray bark. Its leaves are pinnately compound, with 5 or 7 leaflets. The leaves are rarely longer than 3 cm, and are hairy on both sides.
