About Bursera grandifolia (Schltdl.) Engl.
Bursera grandifolia, scientifically named Bursera grandifolia (Schltdl.) Engl., is a Mexican tree species. It belongs to the frankincense family, which is part of the soapwood order. This species is widely distributed across much of Mexico, ranging from Sonora to the Yucatán Peninsula. It also grows in Central America, extending as far south as Costa Rica. Its leaves are pinnately compound, with 5 leaflets per leaf. Each leaflet is egg-shaped, 5–7 cm long, hairy on the underside and hairless on the upper surface. The drupes produced by Bursera grandifolia are egg-shaped and have a few scattered hairs.
