About Bulbillomyces farinosus (Bres.) Jülich

Bulbillomyces is a monotypic fungal genus with an uncertain family classification within the order Polyporales. It contains only one species: Bulbillomyces farinosus, which is a crust fungus. The genus was circumscribed by Swiss mycologist Walter Jülich in 1974. In 2002, this fungus was reported as a new record for Japan.
