About Brodiaea kinkiensis Niehaus

Brodiaea kinkiensis Niehaus is a perennial herb. It produces one cylindrical leaf that grows alongside a tall stem. The tall stem holds an inflorescence with between one and several bell-shaped flowers. Each flower has six petal-like tepals, which are colored light purple and marked with darker purple longitudinal stripes or streaks. After flowering, it develops a capsule fruit that contains black seeds.
