Brodiaea californica, commonly known as California brodiaea, is a plant species belonging to the genus Brodiaea. This is a perennial bulb-growing plant that is native to California and Oregon. It is the largest species in the genus Brodiaea, and can reach up to 30 inches (76 cm) in height when it blooms. Its flowers appear in late spring or early summer, and vary in color, ranging from purple to white, with occasional pink blooms. This text refers to the subspecies Brodiaea californica subsp. leptandra (Greene) J.C.Pires.
