About Bridelia exaltata F.Muell.

Bridelia exaltata F.Muell. is a medium-sized tree that occasionally reaches 35 metres in height, with a stem diameter of 90 cm. Its trunk is cylindrical and lacks buttressing at the base. The bark is greyish brown, rough and hard, and bears some corky flakes; it can resemble the trunk of the grey persimmon. Its small branches are hairless, green or brown in color, and marked with wrinkles and lenticels.
