Brickellia frutescens, commonly known as shrubby brickellbush, is a North American flowering plant species belonging to the Asteraceae family. It is native to desert regions of Arizona, southern Nevada, southern California, and Baja California. This species grows as a shrub reaching up to 60 cm (2 feet) in height. It is heavily branched, and produces many small purple flower heads.
