The pale flycatcher, scientifically named Bradornis pallidus (originally published by J.W.von Müller in 1851, and also previously referred to as Agricola pallidus), is a passerine bird belonging to the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. This species is native to Sub-Saharan Africa. It is distributed widely across most of Sub-Saharan Africa, but it is not found in the Congo Basin or Southern Africa. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, dry savanna, and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
