RECORDS. Bescherelle (1882) recorded it in Atlas and Kabylie. Bescherelle (1882) and Jelenc (1955 a) noted it in Bône, Édough, and La Calle. Gandoger (1883) and Trabut (1888) reported it without a specific location. Litschauer (1904) and Jelenc (1955 a) found it at Fort National (1000 m) and in the valley of Qued - Kebir near Blidah (200 m). Corbière (1905) recorded it in the surroundings of Constantine at djebel Ouach, Les Pins, Menidj, and the route of the Séminarie. Jelenc (1955 a) reported it in Alger (La Bouzaréa), Constantine, Kabylie du Djurdjura (Akfadou and Tizi Ouzou). Boukhatem et al. (2017) found it in El - Kala National Park, Tonga lake watershed. Mazari & Boulaacheb (2023) recorded it in Setif, Megriss Mountain. The species is frequent.
