Brachylomia populi Strecker, 1898 is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. It was first formally described by Ferdinand Heinrich Hermann Strecker in 1898. This species occurs in the inland mountain regions of western North America, ranging from British Columbia and Alberta in the north, southward through Colorado and Utah to Arizona. The wingspan of adults is approximately 30 millimeters. The larvae of this moth feed on the leaves of cottonwood and aspen trees, which are members of the genus Populus. They have also been recorded feeding on species of the genus Quercus.
