Brachylaena neriifolia (L.) R.Br. has the common names Cape silver oak, water white alder, and waterwitels. It is a small dioecious tree native to river valleys in southern Africa. It typically grows to around 6 metres tall, and is most often found along river banks or in other moist areas. Its leaves are lanceolate, and it produces cream-coloured flowers.
