Botyodes diniasalis (Walker, 1859) is a species of moth that belongs to the family Crambidae. This species has been recorded in a range of locations: it can be found on the Canary Islands, and is also present in Taiwan, China, Japan, and Russia. Additional confirmed records of Botyodes diniasalis come from Mali, South Africa, and the Himalaya. The wingspan of adult Botyodes diniasalis measures approximately 30 mm. Adult individuals are yellow, with a rather slender body shape, and are white on their underside. The wings of these moths bear brownish lines. The forewings feature a ferruginous marginal band and brown markings, while the hindwings are ferruginous at their tips. The larvae of Botyodes diniasalis act as a pest of poplar leaves.
