Xylanche himalaica is a flowering plant species in the family Orobanchaceae that is native to Asia. This species was first formally described under the scientific name Boschniakia himalaica in 1884, before being moved to the genus Xylanche in 1893. It is the only recognized species in the entire genus Xylanche. It grows natively in temperate and subalpine regions of the Himalayas, and can be found across China, Tibet, Taiwan, Bhutan, northern India, and Nepal. This plant acts as a parasite on Rhododendron bushes in forested habitats.
