It is a prostrate perennial herb that can grow up to 1 metre across. Its leaves are roughly 40 mm long and 20 mm wide, and they may have wavy edges. Boerhavia dominii produces pale pink or pale purple flowers, which are followed by small, hairy, furrowed fruits.
