About Blepharita amica Treitschke, 1825
Blepharita amica Treitschke, 1825 is a moth species that belongs to the Noctuidae family. Its distribution ranges from northern Europe across the Russian plain, Ural Mountains, Siberia (including the West Siberian Lowland and South Siberian Mountains), Amur Oblast, Primorye Region, and Kazakhstan. It has also been documented on the Korean Peninsula, in Japan (on the islands of Hokkaido and Honshu), and in north-eastern China. This species has a wingspan measuring 41–47 mm. Adult moths are active in flight from late August to early October. Recorded host plants for the larvae of Blepharita amica include Aconitum septentrionale, Heracleum sphondylium, Lactuca sativa, Pastinaca sativa, Taraxacum vulgare, Lupinus polyphyllus, and Prunus padus.
