Bignonia callistegioides Cham. is a woody, evergreen perennial vine that grows to heights between 6 and 15 metres, or 20 to 50 feet. It has hairless green bifoliate leaves that bear tendrils. This species is a heat-loving, frost-tolerant plant grown as an ornamental. It is commonly used to cover trellises, arbors, pergolas and walls, and can also be grown as a sprawling groundcover. It can be propagated from stem cuttings or tip layering.
