Bauhinia monandra Kurz is a species of leguminous tree in the Fabaceae family. Its common names are pink bauhinia, orchid tree, and Napoleon's plume. This tree is native to Madagascar, where it grows widely across both lowland humid forests and dry forests. It has become naturalized in Myanmar, Australia, Christmas Island, the Caribbean, southern United States, Colombia, Brazil, and the Pacific Islands. This species is classified as invasive in New Caledonia.
