Bauhinia lunarioides A.Gray ex S.Watson is a species of flowering plant in the legume family Fabaceae. It is native to Southwestern Texas, United States, and Northern Mexico. Its common names are Texasplume, Anacacho orchid tree, and pata de vaca. This plant grows as a small deciduous tree, reaching a height of up to 4 meters. Its leaves measure 2 to 5 centimeters in both length and width; they have a rounded shape, and are bilobed at both the base and apex. Its flowers are small, with five petals, and most often white, only rarely pink. It produces a pod as its fruit. While its wild natural range is limited, this species has become increasingly available for purchase through plant nurseries.
