Battarreoides, also known by the orthographic variant Battarraeoides, is a fungal genus that belongs to the family Agaricaceae. This is a monotypic genus, meaning it contains only one single species: Battarreoides diguetii, whose scientific name is currently given as Battarreoides diguetii (Pat. & Har.) R.Heim & T.Herrera. This species is found in desert regions of North America. The fungus was originally published under the name Battarreoides potosinus by Teófilo Herrera Suárez in 1951.
