Barbitistes fischeri is a species of bush cricket that belongs to the subfamily Phaneropterinae of the family Tettigoniidae. This species can be found in France, Italy, and Spain, reaching as far as the foothills of the Alps at altitudes up to 1500 meters. In this range, it lives in sparse forests and along forest edges. Adult forms (imagines) of Barbitistes fischeri appear from June to August.
