Bachmannia woodii (Oliv.) Gilg is a small, shrub-like tree that reaches heights between 1.5–3 meters (or 4 feet 11 inches to 9 feet 10 inches). It has light brown bark, and produces pink, bell-shaped flowers. This species occurs in southern Mozambique, EmaMpondweni, and the KwaZulu-Natal region. It grows in coastal forests, most often on sandstone, and favors lower elevation habitats.
