About Azuragrion nigridorsum (Selys, 1876)
Azuragrion nigridorsum (Selys, 1876), commonly called the black-tailed bluet or sailing bluet, is a species of damselfly belonging to the family Coenagrionidae. This is a common and widespread species. Its native range stretches from South Africa northward to Angola and Ethiopia, and also includes Oman, Yemen, Socotra, and Madagascar. It occupies a broad variety of habitats, including slow-flowing streams and ponds. It can live in both open and partly shaded sites.
