Austrolestes aridus (Tillyard, 1908) is an Australian damselfly species belonging to the family Lestidae. It is commonly known by the common name inland ringtail. This species has a widespread distribution across inland Australia, and it lives in streams, pools, and ponds. It is a medium-sized to large damselfly: males are light blue and black, and have a pale band located near the tip of the tail. Austrolestes aridus looks very similar to Austrolestes analis, a species that occurs across southern Australia.
