About Austrogomphus prasinus Tillyard, 1906
Austrogomphus prasinus, first formally described by Tillyard in 1906, is also classified under the subgenus name Austrogomphus (Pleiogomphus) prasinus. It is a dragonfly species belonging to the family Gomphidae, and is commonly called the lemon-tipped hunter. This species lives in streams and rivers located in northern Queensland, Australia. It is a medium-sized dragonfly with a black and yellow body.
