Astragalus cibarius, commonly known as browse milkvetch, is a plant species that belongs to the legume family. It is native to western North America, specifically occurring in the U.S. states of Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. This is a widespread and common species that grows on valley floors, on plains, and in foothills. It is especially associated with sagebrush, and very often grows beneath sagebrush plants. It is a perennial plant that produces pink-purple and white flowers during the spring.
