Asota heliconia (Linnaeus, 1758) is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. Its distribution spans from the Indo-Australian tropics, extending eastward to Queensland and the Solomons. This moth has a wingspan of 52 mm. Larvae of this species have been recorded feeding on plants from the Averrhoa genus.
