Asclepias lanuginosa Nutt., commonly known as woolly milkweed or sidecluster milkweed, is a flowering plant species belonging to the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. This species is native to central Canada and the upper Midwest United States. It was first formally described in 1818. Asclepias lanuginosa is a perennial herb that reaches a height of 15 to 30 cm (6 to 12 inches).
