Arisaema thunbergii, commonly called Asian jack-in-the-pulpit, is a plant species belonging to the Araceae family. It is native to Japan, southern Korea, and Taiwan. In Japan, this species grows at elevations between 20 and 100 meters. The entire plant is poisonous, because all of its parts contain calcium oxalate.
