About Arisaema amurense Maxim.
Arisaema amurense, commonly known as tian nan xing, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Araceae. It is native to the southern Russian Far East, the Korean Peninsula, and eastern China. This is a highly variable perennial plant that grows up to 30 cm (12 inches) tall. It occurs in many different forested habitats, most often growing near streams, at elevations between 50 and 200 m (160 to 660 ft) above sea level. Wild-harvested tubers of this species are used in traditional Chinese medicine.
