About Arhopala bazalus (Hewitson, 1862)

This species is scientifically named Arhopala bazalus (Hewitson, 1862). Males of this species almost entirely lack blue lustre. Both of their wings are dull dark brown; only under specific lighting does the upper wing surface show a faint bluish, somewhat silvery reflection. Females have a distinct deep violet-blue spot in the basal portions of their wings.
