About Arhodia lasiocamparia Guenée, 1857

Arhodia is a monotypic moth genus, meaning it contains only one species, that belongs to the family Geometridae. Its single species is Arhodia lasiocamparia, commonly known as the pink arhodia. This species is distributed across mainland Australia and Tasmania. Both the genus Arhodia and the species Arhodia lasiocamparia were first described by Achille Guenée in 1857. Adult males have a wingspan of approximately 60 mm, while adult females have a wingspan of about 70 mm. The adult moth is active from October to January each year. The larvae of this species feed on plants from the Eucalyptus genus.
