About Argyrotaenia quercifoliana (Fitch, 1858)
Argyrotaenia quercifoliana, commonly known as the yellow-winged oak leafroller moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Tortricidae. This species is found in eastern North America. The wingspan of adult Argyrotaenia quercifoliana ranges from 16 to 24 mm. Adults of this species are active and can be seen in flight from May to July each year. The larvae of Argyrotaenia quercifoliana feed on species of Hamamelis and Quercus (oak), and may also feed on species of Rhamnus (buckthorn).
