Argyrotaenia juglandana, commonly known as the hickory leafroller moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. This species is native to North America, with confirmed records from the following locations: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Its habitat occurs in deciduous woodlands and parks where hickory plants grow. The wingspan of adult Argyrotaenia juglandana measures approximately 18 to 20 mm. Adult moths have been documented in flight from April through August each year. The larval stage of this moth feeds on the leaves of Corylus species, Viburnum species (including Viburnum acerifolium), Carya species (including Carya cordiformis and Carya ovata), Juglans species (including Juglans nigra), and Prunus species.
