General Distribution

The species is distributed across Europe, with one isolated outlying population in Greenland.

Presence in Britain

It has never been recorded growing in Britain.

Presence in Ireland

It was first found growing on Ben Bulben, County Sligo, Ireland in 1806, and this site remains the only known population of the species in Ireland.
