About Arabidopsis arenosa (L.) Lawalrée

Arabidopsis arenosa, commonly known as sand rock-cress, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the mustard family Brassicaceae. It occurs primarily in Central Europe, and exists naturally in both diploid and autotetraploid cytotypes. This characteristic distinguishes it from most other Arabidopsis species, which are primarily diploid; this group includes the closely related Arabidopsis lyrata and Arabidopsis thaliana, the widely used model plant species.
