About Apteria aphylla (Nutt.) Barnhart ex Small
Scientific name: Apteria aphylla (Nutt.) Barnhart ex Small. This species is commonly known as nodding-nixie, a perennial herbaceous flowering plant. It blooms from September to November. Its flowers can be either solid purple, solid white, or white with purple markings. The entire plant reaches a height of about 10 inches, or 250 millimeters. It produces a capsule as its fruit.
