Aphonopelma vorhiesi, commonly known as the Tucson bronze or Madrean red rump, is a species of spider belonging to the family Theraphosidae. It is found in the US states of Arizona and New Mexico. This species closely resembles Aphonopelma chalcodes in appearance, but it is far rarer to find Aphonopelma vorhiesi in captivity than the similar species.
