Apamea scoparia is a species of moth that belongs to the family Noctuidae. It was first formally described by Kauri Mikkola, Tomas Mustelin and J. Donald Lafontaine in 2000. It is counted among the most common and widespread Apamea species found in North America. Its distribution spans the continent from Newfoundland and Labrador in the east, across to Alaska and British Columbia in the west, and extends southward to California and Arizona.
