Apamea niveivenosa, commonly called the snowy-veined apamea, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1879. It is native to northern North America, occurring across Canada and extending as far south as California. The larval stage of this moth is a subterranean cutworm that feeds on grasses. In interior regions of North America, this species is known as a pest of grain crops.
