Apamea lignicolora, commonly called the wood-coloured Quaker or wood-coloured apamea, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. It was first formally described by Achille Guenée in 1852. This species is native to North America, and its distribution covers most of Canada and the United States. The wingspan of adult Apamea lignicolora ranges from 45 to 50 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on a variety of grasses, including couch grass, which has the scientific name Agropyron repens.
