Apamea burgessi is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. It is native to central North America, occurring across the Great Plains and Great Basin. Its range reaches north into Alberta and south into Texas, with an isolated disjunct population located on the East Coast of the United States. This moth has a wingspan of 38 to 40 mm. Its forewings are streaked with tan and gray, and its hindwings are white. Adults fly during September and October.
