Aon noctuiformis, commonly called the aon moth, is the sole species in the monotypic moth genus Aon, which belongs to the family Erebidae. This species is confirmed to inhabit the U.S. state of Texas. Both the genus Aon and the species Aon noctuiformis were first described by Berthold Neumoegen in 1892.
