About Anticlea vasiliata Guenée
Anticlea vasiliata, commonly known as the variable carpet moth or early carpet, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. Achille Guenée first described this species in 1857. It is found across the northern United States and southern Canada, ranging from Newfoundland and Labrador to Maryland, west to California, and north to British Columbia. This moth has a wingspan of approximately 30 millimeters. Adult moths are active in flight from April to June each year. The larvae of Anticlea vasiliata feed on Rubus idaeus and Rosa carolina.
