About Anthospermum aethiopicum L.
Anthospermum aethiopicum L. is a shrub that can grow up to 2 meters tall, and it produces clusters of yellow flowers. Its small, thin leaves always grow in sets of three; this trait distinguishes it from its closely related species. This species is distributed across the southern Cape region of South Africa. Its range extends from Calvinia in the northwestern part of this area, across the Overberg region, and into the Eastern Cape Province. It prefers areas that are not extremely arid, and it is commonly found growing on shale or clay soils.
