Anthanassa ardys, commonly known as the Ardys crescent, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. Its distribution ranges from southern Mexico, through Central America, to Colombia. A study of elevational abundance patterns conducted in Oaxaca, Mexico, found that Anthanassa ardys typically occurs at mid-elevation sites, with no recorded presences in lower or higher elevation areas in this region.
