Anomis erosa, commonly known as the yellow scallop moth or abutilon moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was originally described by Jacob Hübner in 1818. It occurs in southeastern North America. It is primarily a southern species, though migrating individuals have been recorded as far north as Manitoba, Quebec, and Maine. The wingspan of this moth is approximately 27 millimeters. Its larvae feed on cotton, Hibiscus (also called rose of Sharon), hollyhock, marsh mallow, okra, rose-mallow, velvet leaf, and other species in the plant family Malvaceae.
