About Ancylis laetana (Fabricius, 1775)
Ancylis laetana is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. It is distributed across most of Europe, and is absent from the Iberian Peninsula, the Balkan Peninsula, Iceland, Ireland, and Ukraine. The wingspan of this moth ranges from 14 to 18 mm. Adult moths are active from May to June, and produce one new generation each year. The larvae of Ancylis laetana feed primarily on Populus tremula, and will occasionally feed on Populus nigra.
