Amyris madrensis, commonly called the Sierra Madre torchwood, is a species of flowering plant in the family Rutaceae. It is native to southern Texas in the United States and northeastern Mexico, and it also has scattered populations in other regions of Mexico. It is a perennial shrub that can grow up to 3 m (10 ft) tall, though it is usually shorter. This species is a member of the Tamaulipan thornscrub plant community.
